Agile Methodology brings multiple benefits. You can find them in bullet points on Agile web sites. However, the main benefit does not fit into bullet points list. It is "feel better". It might not sound convincing, but it is true. Agile software development customers do feel better because they see the real progress of a project, because they can better manage risks, because they have a working prototype on hands early, because introducing changes in a middle of a project is less expensive than with classic approaches, because they can see the need for changes in the middle of the project, not at the end.
