Case StudiesThese real-life case studies will help you get a better understanding of our work procedures and give you some additional information about our expertise and ability to manage and resolve complex issues. Remark: we cannot disclose project details because of NDA and other documents we signed. TelphinCall Mobile VoIP ApplicationThis case study examines real-life mobile application development project for the Apple iPhone/iPod Touch platform, and shows problems and obstacles software developer and stakeholders can face. It was Telphin USA Inc. first mobile product for the iPhone OS platform. RobinLab helped them with creation of Apple Development Account and obtaining and setting up all necessary licenses and provisioning profiles. After completion of software development phase, we have maintained and supported the application. During the Apple iTunes Store approval procedure, we implemented all the necessary changes to comply with the story requirements. Duration: 3 weeks
Project Rescue Through AgileThis case study can serve as a good example of transferring company workflow to Agile methodologies and the benefits it brings. The company provides online services for the real estate market in the USA. The company was able to turn around its software development division to come out of the recession and succeed. The company turned to RobinLab after having some bad experience of outsourcing to an Indian company. And we were able to pick up the ball and put company business back on track. Duration: 6 months
Agile SCRUM Development in Distributed TeamHere is a good example of successful application of agile SCRUM methodology for managing collaboration between multiple remote teams. One of the challenges of this project was the necessity of investigation and analysis of huge amount of business requirements. The industry was not familiar to us, and moving forward required massive knowledge transfer regarding the functionality of the existing product. In addition, work was performed in conjunction with the customer's onsite team, which was already involved in the main product maintenance and support activities. Managing volume of communications under control was a big challenge. As usual, Agile and SCRUM helped us a lot. We were able to transfer the knowledge and do the project at the same time, which resulted in releasing the project two months ahead of the schedule. Duration: 14 months
